How Do I Reinstate My Cancelled Application SASSA Grant?

Beneficiaries benefit from the grant in terms of their living standards, education, health, and participation in the workforce. You are still eligible to reinstate your application if you were a beneficiary but canceled it for various reasons. So, how do I reinstate my canceled application SASSA grant?
It is the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) that administers social grant applications. SASSA R350 grants have now administered under the Social Assistance Act since the National State of Disaster ended. If your circumstances have changed since you canceled your R350 grant application, you may still be able to reinstate it.
Reinstate Cancelled Srd Grant
If your application for a grant was canceled and you need to reinstate it, you can do so easily online. Just follow these steps on the SASSA website to get your grant back.
- Go to this website: srd.sassa.gov.za
- Click on the tab that says “Reinstate my cancelled application”
- Enter your ID number and mobile number, then click on “send pin”
- You’ll get a text message with a special number called OTP
- Enter the OTP number and click “verify”
- Pick a reason why you want to get your grant back (Reasons: Cancelled by mistake, Don’t have money anymore, Other)
- You’ll see a message asking if you’re sure you want to get your grant back
- If you’re sure, click “YES” to continue.

Here are easy steps to appeal or check your appeal status for the grant application. Make sure you have your ID and the phone number you used for the application ready.
- Click Here to appeal or check appeal status”.
- Enter your ID and cellphone number used for the grant application.
- Wait for a verification pin via SMS, then enter it and press “submit”. This confirms your identity.
- If you’ve changed or lost your cellphone, update your details on the srd.sassa.gov.za website.
- Enter the verification pin received and press “submit”.
- Choose the month you’re appealing for and see why your application was declined.
- Select a reason for your appeal from the dropdown list.
- Press “submit” to finish.
Note: Majority of the people unaware of the appeal submit time and duration. If your application has been declined by SASSA then you have 90 days to submit an appeal.
